Karen (Veterinary Assistant)
I live in Santa Cruz, just blocks from the beach and the lighthouse
where I love to take my overly rambunctious pup, Kira…and yes, I do
commute. I grew up in San Jose and moved to Santa Cruz to attend UCSC.
I spent my college years studying and traveling. I graduated with
a BS in Marine Biology and have spent the last four years working
at a ranch in the Santa Cruz Mountains as well as Sara Creek Veterinary
Clinic since September 2004. I have applied to veterinary schools
and am anxiously waiting to hear what the future may hold for me.
If everything goes as planned I will be starting school next year
and will be on my way to my own career in veterinary medicine. |
Norma (Veterinary Assistant)
I was born and raised in San Jose. I began working
here in October 2006. I find working at Sara Creek Vet Clinic very
rewarding and exciting. I enjoy working with our furry patients
and being involved in making them feel better. What I like best
about Sara Creek Vet Clinic is the teamwork and dedication of the
doctors and staff. I will soon be registering for Veterinary Technician
School to expand my career in the animal care field. At home I have
4 beautiful felines and my darling Terrier Mix, Duke. |
Ariana (Veterinary Assistant)
I grew up on the East Bay, in Union City. I am
currently attending DeAnza College and hope to attend the Veterinary
program at Davis within the next few years. Ever since I was a young
girl, I’ve loved animals and always wished and begged my parents
for a dog. Well, my dream came true and I now have 3 Chihuahuas.
First, I have Fifi, my lazy little girl. Next is Giorgio, my little
“Speedy Gonzales”. Lastly, I have their pride and joy,
Sasha. So, as you can see, working at Sara Creek Veterinary Clinic
has become a wonderful experience for me. |
Danielle (Veterinary Assistant)
I have loved animals since I was a little girl.
I have a dog named Hannah and a kitty named Sophie. These two are
like my children and I love them dearly. I am currently a student
at San Jose State University and am finishing up my double major
in Earth Science and Conservation and Organismal Biology, with an
emphasis in zoology. I plan on doing field research to help preserve
animals and their environment for future generations. My goal is
to educate children and get them interested in animals and to motivate
them to want to help save animals. |
Shona (Veterinary Assistant)
I grew up in Los Gatos, and am proud to call
the Bay Area my home ever since. I joined the Sara Creek Veterinary
Clinic team in June of 2006, in search of a way to do what I really
loved. For me, Sara Creek Veterinary Clinic is not just a job, but
an enjoyable and rewarding way to spend my time. Having grown up
with animals my whole life, the opportunity to join the Sara Creek
Veterinary Clinic team was a blessing. I pride myself in being part
of the Sara Creek team, as I have truly bonded with my coworkers,
Dr. Eversman, and our wonderful clients and adorable patients. When
I'm not helping our patients, I enjoy spoiling my own kitties, Gee
and Leroy. |
Gisele (Veterinary Assistant)
I grew up in the Bay Area. Growing up I never
had any cats or dogs. I didn’t realize how much I loved them
until I took in a kitten named Chase a few years back. I was lucky
enough to join the staff at Sara Creek Veterinary Clinic in June
of 2007. I am truly blessed with a job that leaves a smile on my
face at the end of each day. Being able to help our furry friends
is the most rewarding feeling in the world. Along with my kitty,
I also have a rambunctious little pooch named Miley. |
